1. I made my friend feel better when she was upset & lonely.
2. I supported my friend when her friends weren’t being nice to her and excluding her.
3. I signed Jessica’s card when she was sick to make her feel better.

What is my learning goal?
IALT manage my time well so I complete all my “MUST Do” SML Tasks each week
What has been going well?
My Mathletics has been going well since I achieve my expected points every week and get more points than I should as well as my blogging since I do all of my blogs each week.
What have I been learning to do to get the tasks done?
I have learned how to manage my learning by doing my SML’s at home when I can.
Which tasks have I completed well?  Why?
I complete my blogging well because I use my time wisely when I do my blogs.
Which tasks have been challenging?  Why?
Maths has been challenging since you never know if you have another follow up to do so you can only check it off on friday.
What are some other bonus tasks I would like to do?

Art Attack: Calendar Art

Calendar Art
This week the Kauri Team has been doing art. Here is what we did in year six:

What’s my goal?
WALT: Create an artist inspired piece of art.
Artist: Raewyn Harris

What did I learn to do?
I learned how to draw piece of art. I incorporated plants, leaves, korus and patterns.
I learned how to use complementary colours. These colours work well together and they are eye catching. Complementary colours are found opposite each other on the colour wheel.

If I did this art again I would use more colour and create more patterns.

I am really proud of my artwork. My favourite part is the koru because I used the light and dark version of the same colour.
